A New Era is on it's way, and this shift is another piece of that puzzle. Neptune- the planet of illusion, spirituality, escapism, the maia, ideals, dreams, etc.- shifts signs. Neptune stays in a sign for 14 years, so each of us experiences Neptune in less than half of the zodiac signs in our lifetime - assuming we live to the average life expectancy.

…Mars is the planet of war and passion and motivation and forward action. Pluto is the planet of destruction and shadows and transformation. (this is not an exhaustive list, by any means)

When these planets come into an opposition, an aspect reflecting tension and obstacles and division, it can be volatile. We can experience or witness power struggles, ego trips, or deep wounds that have people acting from their defense mechanisms, opposed to a grounded and centered place of presence and awareness. This can be an aspect that indicates violence, harm, aggression, power moves, scandal, or loud reactions.

There can also be a deep drive to achieve our desires. And it can be a drive that doesn't seem to care about, or be aware of, the harm caused in the wake of their actions toward that desire….

Eclipses are known to be times of karmic shifting, fated change, great beginnings and endings, and upheaval. Where they hit in our own chart will always determine how extreme our experience with the eclipses are. 

Keep in mind that eclipses happen in sets, twice a year. So it's semi-common and not something to fear. It's just something to be aware of and be open to the shifting and awarenesses that occur...

Pluto has been in Capricorn since 2008 and will make its final departure into Aquarius at the end of this year - a shift it has been teasing for 2 years, including the United States Pluto return, which will all come to a punctuation during a major election in the United States this coming November.
